Allan La Fontaine (15 December 1910 – 14 December 1999). He was an Australian rules footballer in the then Victorian Football League (Australia) in 1930 and 1940 at the Melbourne Football Club. He is the only French to have evolved in a professional australian rules football league. He was captain of Melbourne during their hat-trick of premierships in 1939, 1940 and 1941. In 1996 La Fontaine was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame.

3) Favorite part of sports: The most important reason for me to play sports is to have fun,but it is also to test my physical abilities and push myself to the limit

4) Thing you're most excited about for JMSM's Conference: As this will be my first JMSM conference ever, I'm really looking forward to the entire weekend. There will be terrific speakers again this year, and being able to meet students from all over Canada with the same passion for sport is something that I'll definitely enjoy.
