Sports Breaks
At JMSM, we care about students’ health. We are aware that students spend a lot of time in
their books studying, to the detriment of their physical condition. However, doing physical
activity can in fact improve your performance at school.
Sports have major benefits that can help students. Exercise reduces the amount of stress
hormones in the body, resulting in a slower heart rate, relaxed blood vessels, and lower blood
pressure. It also boosts blood flow to the brain and helps it receive oxygen and nutrients. The
better shape you’re in, the faster you fire brain waves that are responsible for quick thinking.
Thus, JMSM this year will organize Sports Breaks in order to give students a chance to get off
their books and do some exercise. Our mission is also to organize the most possible conjointly
with other associations/committees, in order to maximize the turnout.
